Redhawks Foundation

The Dallas Redhawks Foundation was created nearly 10 years ago.  Since that time, we have donated toward helping numerous families in their efforts to have their child play select baseball.  In addition, The Dallas Redhawks Baseball foundation has volunteered their time and donationed to assist many organizations such as the Miracle League, Helping Hand, Keeper of the Game and many others.  We have donated many hours and resources to improve our fields and facilities at Garland Christian Academy and Lavon Drive Baptist Church whom we have a strong and lasting partnership with.

Together, we have helped improved the baseball and softball fields to make the fields an outstanding place for both Garland Christian Academy and Dallas Tigers baseball players.

We continue to seek out and become involved in new charitable endeavors and are excited for what the future holds

Helping Hands & Miracle Day

The Redhawks Foundation sponsored over 20 families in partnership with Lavon Drive Baptist Church through their Helping Hands Program. In addition to sponsoring families, we were able to make a cash donation to help pay for additional gift for families in need this past holiday season.

The Redhawks Foundation is proud to volunteer with the Miracle League.

The Miracle League removes the barriers that keep children with mental and physical disabilities off the baseball field and lets them experience the joy of America’s favorite pastime. Since the main barriers for these adults arise from the natural grass fields used in conventional leagues, Miracle League teams play on a custom-designed, rubberized turf field that accommodates wheelchairs and other assertive devices while helping to prevent injuries.

But it’s more than playing a game. The Miracle League is about making new friends, building self-esteem and being treated just like other athletes.  To help the athletes, the Miracle League uses a “buddy” system – pairing each player with an able-bodied peer.  The result is a bond that cannot be described. The Miracle League serves children and adults who suffer from any physical or mental disabilities, which causes them to be excluded, whether intentionally or not, from conventional Baseball leagues.

Redhawks Scholarship Program

The Dallas Redhawks Baseball Club is a non-profit 501 3(c) organization.  Since the inception of our foundation, and our select club, the Dallas Redhawks nearly 11 years ago, we have offered numerous full or partial scholarships to families that may not otherwise be able to have their son play at the select level.

We have continued this foundation as we partner with the Dallas Tigers Northeast in hopes of helping other families/players in the years to come.

We realize that the costs associated with select baseball can weigh heavy financially on a family and we have always done our best to try to relieve some of that burden.

We feel that every player that has the physical ability, passion, and desire to improve their game should be given an opportunity to get the instruction and coaching offered at the select level.
